College Theme for 2025

At our recent Dedication Service, I had the privilege to introduce the College theme for 2025 which I believe is a significant focus for us as a community in this new season.

Connection is a deeply complex theme to explore and yet beautifully simple. Our theme verse is reflective of this:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these".

Mark 12:30-31 NIV

Our focus is this exploration will be three-fold:

• A strong heart, soul and mind connection with God our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit gives us our identity and purpose.
• Our connection with each other is one of love and is characterised by our love for ourselves.
• Connection with our created self is implicit to the strength of all our relationships.

We are designed for connection and I trust that as we move through this year our connection with our loving God will deepen and all relationships in our College community will be strengthened. We see this expressed in Ephesians 4:16:

"From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work".

We trust that God will lead us together during this year as we seek to understand His divine intent for connection.
